dunnhumby was established in China in 2006 to help put the customer at the heart of BestBuy China’s business decisions. Since 2008 we have been working to do the same for Tesco and its suppliers. Together we develop insights based on the shopping behaviour of over 2 million people every week. We enable the companies we work with, including Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola and Unilever, to use this insight to deliver a better shopping experience and more relevant marketing to their customers.

The dunnhumby team has a wealth of international experience ensuring that ranging, pricing, promotions and other retail decisions meet the customer’s wants, needs and desires. Customers repay that loyalty to putting their interests first with their own, buying one more product, one more time - or put simply - growing our clients’ brand value.

Our team, based at our office in Shanghai, is currently working with a continuously growing client base of over 15 prestigious companies across a large number of categories.

Simon Jury

Simon JuryAfter completing a PhD in Physics from Edinburgh University, Simon spent four years with the software company Quadstone working across a variety of sectors, including retail and financial services. He further developed his expertise in actionable customer understanding when he joined the strategy consultants Peppers and Rogers Group in 2004. After joining dunnhumby in 2005, Simon held various management roles in the UK business before relocating to China in 2008. Simon is now leading our team in China to ensure our clients understand and see the benefits of putting the customer first.
