
dunnhumby was established in Colombia in 2010 as part of engagement with Casino International. Working closely with Grupo Exito the number one retailer in Colombia, dunnhumby is putting customers at the heart of Exito’s business decisions – and those of its suppliers. Together, we develop insights based on the shopping behaviour of over three million people every week. Working across three of the key banners in Colombia (Exito, Carulla and Pomona) we will enable the retailer and their suppliers (including Nestle, Unilever and Procter & Gamble and Colgate), to use this insight to deliver a better shopping experience and more relevant marketing to their customers.
The dunnhumby team has a wealth of international experience ensuring that ranging, pricing, promotions and other retail decisions meet the customer’s wants, needs and desires. Customers repay that loyalty to putting their interests first with their own, buying one more product, one more time – or put simply - growing our clients’ brand value.
We operate out of the headquarters of Exito in Medellin and Carulla in Bogota and in our first 6 months have already started to engage with Procter and Gamble, Colgate, Zenu and Nacional de Chocolates.
After graduating with a History degree in 1997, Nick worked in Tesco Commercial for nine years across a variety of categories. Having progressed to become a Business Planning Manager, Nick saw the opportunity to combine his passion for retail and customer understanding by joining dunnhumby in 2006. Following successful engagements with Heinz, News International and Coca Cola, Nick took on the challenge of further developing Tesco Commercial’s application of customer understanding in their business decisions. Since the start of 2010 Nick has been leading dunnhumby Colombia S.A.S’s work with Grupo Exito to “trabajamos para que el cliente regrese”.
