dunnhumby appoints new group head of information security

Hamilton is responsible for the development and management of a coordinated global information security programme across all of dunnhumby’s territories of operation.

His arrival will provide strategic leadership to dunnhumby’s information security and help to effectively manage risk while the company continues to expand into new territories. Hamilton has held senior positions at Booz Allen Hamilton in the US and at Accenture in the UK, specialising in information security and data protection solutions for industry leading telecommunications, financial services and consumer product companies, as well as the U.S. Department of Defense.  Earlier in his career, Hamilton was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and led information security projects for a classified programme at the Pentagon.
