We loved the innovative and bizarre entries you came up with, so this year we thought we would crank it up a notch...
Supermarket Sweep is back! You know, the fun gameshow from the 90s where you can go wild in the aisles and pile your trolley high! Your challenge this year is to think of all the fun you could be having every time you hear that beep and do something fun around the theme of Supermarket Sweep.
For those of you who don't remember, Supermarket Sweep is a gameshow where contestants add time to their clock by playing supermarket themed mini games, answering questions, and solving riddles posed by the host. The accumulated time determines how long each team gets to dash around a mock supermarket piling their trollies high in the Big Sweep. The team with the most valuable trolley goes on to play The Super Sweep where they have 60 seconds to find and solve three clues hidden on products around the supermarket to win a big cash prize.
Some ideas could include a brand-new mini game, a maze solver to optimise your route around the supermarket, a new way to do your online shopping, or even an augmented reality version of the Super Sweep you can play in an actual supermarket.
We really want to you stretch your horizons and have fun, so you can use any technology you want. You'll be judged based on how innovative your solution is with (inflatable) bonuses for completing the dunnhumby shopping list...
