Sociomantic receives Digital Trading Standards Group Brand Safety seal from JICWEBS

Berlin, GERMANY – April 24, 2019 – Hot on the heels of achieving re-certification to TAG’s Anti-Fraud guidelines from BPA Worldwide, dunnhumby media is proud to announce that its programmatic technology, Sociomantic, has also now received a DTSG (Digital Trading Standards Group) brand safety seal from JICWEBS. This recognizes Sociomantic’s commitment to upholding brand safety and protecting the integrity of digital advertising.
BPA Worldwide assessed Sociomantic’s policies and procedures for minimising ad misplacement against the DTSG UK Good Practice Principles. These principles aim to significantly reduce the risk of the misplacement of display and audio advertising on digital media properties.

The Digital Trading Standards Group (DTSG) was set up in 2012 to bring the industry together to propose guidelines aimed at significantly reducing the risk of misplacement of advertising across the digital trading ecosystem. The DTSG Brand Safety group specifically looks at Good Practice and Standards around keeping brands safe online.
JICWEBS oversees the independent development of Good Practice and Standards for digital ad trading. It aims to increase transparency and trust in how digital advertising is bought and sold.
