dunnhumby was formally established in Canada in 2009 to help put the customer at the heart of Metro, and its suppliers', business decisions. Together, they develop insights based on the shopping behaviour of over three million people every week.
The dunnhumby team has a wealth of international experience from all parts of the globe, ensuring that assortment, pricing, promotions and other retail decisions meet customers’ wants, needs and desires. Customers repay that loyalty with their own, buying one more product, one more time – or put simply – growing clients’ brand value.
dunnhumby started working with Metro in Ontario on a proof-of-concept phase as early as 2008. Initially focused on the Metro banner, the strength of its partnership with Metro led to work with the Food Basics discounted banner as well.
In Quebec, dunnhumby Canada supported the highly successful launch of Metro’s new metro&moi loyalty program in 2010, and have since expanded its activities to work with both the Metro supermarket and the Super C discounted banners.
dunnhumby Canada enables its manufacturer partners, including Kraft, PepsiCo and Nestlé, to use customer insight to deliver a better shopping experience and more relevant marketing to customers. The team, based at offices in Montreal, Toronto and Gurgaon, India, is working with a rapidly growing client base of prestigious companies across a large number of categories.
Although it’s the official headquarters of dunnhumby Canada, dunnhumby Montreal is just one-third of a powerful, passionate international loyalty-building team that also includes offices in Toronto and Gurgaon, India.
Located in the Etobicoke neighbourhood of Toronto, just a short 12-minute drive from Lake Ontario, dunnhumby Toronto shares an office building with the Ontario division of its major retail partner, Metro. Our proximity allows for increased collaboration with both Metro and its suppliers, and has led to the addition of several training and meeting rooms in the Toronto office.
