dunnhumby appoints David Zimmer as Chief Product & Strategy Officer

London, UK – 9 May 2023 – dunnhumby, a global leader in Customer Data Science, has appointed David Zimmer as Chief Product Officer & Strategy Officer, to lead the evolution and development of dunnhumby’s suite of products as it continues to transform and grow.

David has 25 years’ experience spanning both advisory and industry roles, having previously led successful large-scale product transformations at a number of global B2B organisations.

Prior to joining dunnhumby, David served as the Chief Product Officer – Digital Platforms for CWT, a global travel management platform, leading their end-to-end digital transformation and revolutionising their customer engagement. He has also held several positions at Travelport, one of the world’s biggest digital travel marketplaces, most recently as Global Head of Product & Innovation, where his product leadership helped generate US$13 billion in retail volume. He also spearheaded Travelport Labs, a start-up accelerator supporting travel SaaS innovators. In the past David spent 10 years as a consultant with KPMG, specialising in business growth and M&A.

David holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BSc and BA from Duke University.
