dunnhumby strengthens executive team with the appointment of Gaby Appleton

  • Gaby Appleton joins dunnhumby’s executive team to lead global product strategy and services
  • Brings extensive experience across digital innovation, public sector tech, and B2B product leadership

London, UK, 28 August 2025 – dunnhumby, the leader in customer data science and AI, has appointed Gaby Appleton to its executive team to lead product strategy and oversee services supporting key clients.  Gaby joins dunnhumby from RX Global, where she served as Chief Digital Product Officer. Over the last 15 years she has led strategy and product management for a range of B2B products, and in 2020 was Product Director at NHS Test and Trace, leading the NHS contact tracing app team and using complex data science and technology to reduce infections during the pandemic. 

At dunnhumby, Gaby will lead Category Management products, driving the strategy and thought leadership to enable the right propositions for clients globally. She will also play a key role in managing dunnhumby services into Tesco across pricing and promotions, space, range and merchandising, and personalised customer engagement.
