The changing role of convenience stores in APAC

Convenience stores serve as a critical pillar in the modern grocery retail business. Providing easy access to a range of everyday products, convenience stores enable customers to fulfil a multitude of objectives – from grabbing a quick drink or meal and topping up their groceries through to topping up their mobile phone balance.

As much as the convenience channel has already begun to evolve, this shift is unlikely to simply come to a stop. The market will continue to change, meaning that retailers need to think about future possibilities even as they ready their business for more immediate challenges.
