In her role as Chief Data Science Officer, Sandra leads the Data Science team spanning both Research and Applied Data Science across the globe. Her role reflects the deep legacy of dunnhumby but involves pushing boundaries, to both create new and high-quality science, and to enable the swift delivery of that science to our clients to create value.
Sandra joined dunnhumby in 1999 and has more than 20 years’ experience in the application of analytics and data science across retail, telecoms, financial services and utilities. She has held a wide variety of roles across Insights, Data Science, Customer Knowledge and Client Leadership. With her experience solidly grounded in the principles of data science, she has a deep understanding of creating best-in-class science solutions that help retailers and brands improve their customer experience. Sandra is a true thought leader in customer-first analytics.
What excites you about retail and Customer Data Science?
dunnhumby has been at the forefront of global data science for over 30 years and have created some of the most effective, understood and replicated approaches across the industry. I have been at the heart of that journey for over 20 years and my passion for customer data driven change is as strong today as it’s ever been. We stand at a pivotal time where retailers look to advances in science and technology to embed AI into the customer experience process and I am excited to partner with our clients to ensure we focus on what will make a meaningful change for customers and drive results.
