David Zimmer was appointed Chief Product and Strategy Officer in May 2023, responsible for evolving dunnhumby’s suite of products. David’s career spans both advisory and industry roles, leading large-scale product transformations at global B2B organisations.
Prior to joining dunnhumby, David served as Chief Product Officer – Digital Platforms for CWT, the global travel management platform, and before that he was Global Head of Product & Innovation at Travelport, one of the world’s biggest digital travel marketplaces. He also spearheaded Travelport Labs, a start-up accelerator supporting travel SaaS innovators. In his early career, David spent 10 years as a consultant with KPMG, specialising in business growth and M&A.
David holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a BSc and BA from Duke University.
